Mini, unintentional, Interventions

In my studio, anything that "falls" onto the work, such as if a work is curing on the balcony and leaves or other debris lands on the work, I'll leave it there and/or incorporate it further/ making it more permanent.

To me, this is part of the Zen of creating.  It's accepting the things that happen and instead of freaking out, finding ways to incorporate the new addition.

Paper pieces, old resin, paint getting accidently rubbed against a new piece.  It all seems to have what is reflected in  my art all the time... the interactions, of even a moment, can change us/anything, forever.

All the love,
J
